Metal cutting & nesting
CNC metal cutting and nesting in Kazakhstan. Plasma cutting for thick plate, laser cutting for thin precision parts from drawings and DXF files. We cut steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and other metals. Profile cutting of any complexity — from one part to batch production.

Cutting methods and when to use each
CNC plasma cutting is optimal for thick plate (3-100 mm) — an economical solution for structural parts intended for welding. Laser cutting is ideal for sheet from 1 to 20 mm with a perfect edge, where precision and minimal post-cut finishing are critical. Oxy-fuel cutting is used for metal thicker than 100 mm. For each drawing our process engineer selects the technology based on the price-to-quality ratio, edge requirements, and geometric accuracy.
Materials and thicknesses
Structural steel St3 and 09G2S, alloy steels, stainless AISI 304/316/321 and 12X18N10T, galvanized steel, aluminum and aluminum alloys (AlMg, 6061), copper and brass. Thicknesses: plasma cuts steel up to 100 mm, stainless up to 40 mm, aluminum up to 30 mm; laser cuts from 1 to 20 mm. For stainless and aluminum on the laser we use nitrogen as the assist gas — this delivers a clean, oxide-free edge ready for paint or welding without dressing.
Nesting and sheet optimization
We accept drawings in DXF, DWG, and PDF. The process engineer nests parts on the sheet to minimize material consumption — savings of up to 15% versus manual layout, especially on serial batches. For large volumes we optimize cut order to minimize thermal distortion. Automatic numbering and laser etching of part marks are available — they simplify downstream assembly and on-site quality control.
Typical jobs
Cutting parts for welded structures, manufacturing brackets and plates, blanks for further machining, profile parts for machine building, decorative elements (profile cutting for architectural projects), parts for steel structures, blanks for press brake bending. Minimum batch — one part, batches have no upper limit. For large orders we supply metal from stock or source it from our partners as needed.

Frequently asked questions
What's the difference between plasma and laser cutting?+
Plasma economically cuts metal from 3 to 100 mm — ideal for structural steel and large nesting jobs. Laser delivers a thin kerf and perfect edge on sheet from 1 to 20 mm, where precision and minimal post-cut machining are critical.
What is the maximum metal thickness you cut?+
Plasma cuts steel from 3 to 100 mm, stainless up to 40 mm, aluminum up to 30 mm. Laser — from 1 to 20 mm on mild steel and up to 8 mm on stainless. For greater thicknesses we use oxy-fuel cutting — confirmed on request.
Do you accept DXF files?+
Yes, DXF is our primary nesting format. We also work with DWG and contour drawings in PDF. If needed we will break down the drawing into individual parts with proper allowances and optimal sheet nesting.
What is the minimum cutting batch?+
There is no minimum — we cut even a single part. Single-piece orders are quoted by actual cut length plus setup. For large batches we apply nesting optimization, saving up to 15% of material.
Can you supply the metal yourselves and cut it?+
Yes, we can supply metal from our stock or source it from trusted suppliers (St3, 09G2S, AISI 304, aluminum) and cut it for your job — single invoice, no intermediaries.
Do you cut non-ferrous metals?+
We cut aluminum, copper, and brass — laser with nitrogen for a clean edge. We cut stainless and galvanized sheet. Titanium and precious metals are quoted on request.
